The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
