At Least 98 Palestinian Detainees Have Died in Israeli Custody Starting From October 2023, Statistics from Israel Reveals

High-Profile Cases
Some deaths in detention have been widely reported, for instance a senior medical chief who died in prison after 120 days in detention.
An inmate detained alongside the deceased stated that he was brought to the exercise area by correctional officers shortly before his death, clearly wounded and unclothed from the waist down. His corpse has not been repatriated to Gaza.
